Amend EDI orders without losing the link

Orders change. A customer adds a line, a quantity is corrected, a delivery date moves. When the order came from a channel, editing it in Sage used to risk losing the connection between the Sage order and everything Channels does with it afterwards.

This month Tilted Channels added order modification. When a channel order is amended, Channels records the amendment in its log, finds the stock item for any added line by the channel's own product identifiers, and links new lines to the channel order so they follow it through shipment confirmations. Where the order is fulfilled by a 3PL, the routing is worked out again, so the warehouse receives the order as it now stands rather than as it first arrived.

It means your team can deal with real-world changes in the place they already work, without workarounds and without the risk of the channel and the warehouse being told different things.

If changes to channel orders are a headache for your team, we can help.
