Certified for US retail drop-ship EDI
Selling to the big US retailers means trading by EDI on their terms, and each one certifies its suppliers before the first live order. This month Tilted Channels passed certification for drop-ship trading and inventory feeds with a major US homeware retailer, with a second following in July.
Channels handles the full drop-ship exchange in X12. Purchase orders (850) and order changes (860) come into Sage 200 as sales orders and amendments, acknowledgements (855 and 865) go back, advance ship notices (856) and invoices (810) are produced from your Sage despatches and invoices, and inventory feeds (846) are worked out from Sage stock. Each partner's own layout is held in Channels, so the same Sage process serves every retailer.
Certification is a demanding process, and passing it means the documents Sage produces meet the retailer's exact rules, first time.
