Palletways Courier Integration

For wholesale businesses, much of what goes out of the door goes by pallet, and Palletways is one of the UK's best-known pallet networks. We have added Palletways to the carriers we connect to, so pallet consignments are booked without anyone keying them into the Palletways website.

The connection uses Palletways' own API. When an order is despatched, the consignment is created with Palletways from the despatch details. That covers the delivery address and contact, your order number and your customer's reference, the number of pallets and their type, the total weight, and the Palletways service along with any surcharge it carries. Tail-lift delivery can be requested for your consignments, so the driver arrives ready to unload.

Palletways sends back the pallet labels straight away. They are saved and printed on the label printer at your despatch point, ready to go on the pallets before the vehicle arrives.

Once Palletways confirms the consignment, its consignment number is collected and written to the Sage 200 sales order as the tracking reference, alongside the carrier. Anyone looking at the order in Sage can see who took it and quote the Palletways reference if a customer asks where their goods are.
