SparkLayer B2B and Sage 200: how it works
More and more of the wholesalers we work with sell to trade customers through a Shopify store running SparkLayer, which adds customer-specific pricing, credit terms and quick ordering to Shopify. Tilted Channels has connected SparkLayer stores to Sage 200 since 2023, and as interest grows, here is how the integration works.
Sage 200 stays in charge. Channels sends your trade customers to SparkLayer with their credit limits, turns your Sage price bands into SparkLayer price lists, and sends stock levels and next available dates worked out from Sage free stock. When an invoice is posted in Sage, its PDF can be attached to the customer's order online, so customers can find their own paperwork.
Trade orders placed on the store come into Sage through the Channels Shopify channel, the same way as your retail orders, becoming sales orders without anyone rekeying them.
Each feed is built from Sage on a schedule and kept as a record you can view, so you can always see what was sent and when. If you are thinking about a trade store, or already run SparkLayer alongside Sage 200, we would be glad to show you how it fits together.
