SSCC and rule-based labels in Tilted Carriers

A carrier label is rarely the only label a parcel needs. Retailers and distribution centres often ask for an SSCC label on every carton, and some orders need extra labels of their own. This month Tilted Carriers took on more of that work.

SSCC labels can now be produced for every carrier, including from despatches finished on Sicon handhelds, and extra labels can be added to a service. Criteria decide which labels print, so a label can be tied to the order, to particular lines or to a delivery address, rather than printing for everything. Labels can also be printed for purchase orders.

Because the rules live in Carriers, your despatch team keeps one way of working whatever the carrier and whatever the customer asks for, and the right labels come out of the printer at the bench.
