Tilted AI drafts your orders from a PDF
Orders still arrive as PDFs every day: a customer's purchase order attached to an email, or a quote from a supplier. Someone has to read each one and key it into Sage line by line. Tilted AI for Sage 200 can now do the reading for you.
Drag the PDF onto the Tilted AI panel in Sage, paste it in, or choose it with the + button, and ask for an order. Tilted AI reads who it is from, their order number, any delivery date and every line. It matches each line to your stock by your stock code, the barcode, the customer's or supplier's own code for the item, or the description, and where a line could be more than one item, or none, it asks which you mean.
The draft appears in the conversation with Sage's price and the free stock beside each line. A sales line is priced as Sage would price it for that customer, and a purchase line at the supplier's list price or the last price you paid. Where the document's price is different, Tilted AI shows both, and it warns you when an order is for more than you have free. Say "use the prices on their order" and it drafts the order again at their prices.
Nothing goes into Sage until you say so. Under the draft is a Raise button: click it and Sage creates the order under your own login, as Enter New Order would, then opens it in Amend Order for you to check. Sage's own rules still apply, so a customer over their credit limit is treated just as order entry would treat it, and using a document's price on a sales order needs your permission to override prices. A delivery date on the PDF becomes the order's requested delivery date, and on a sales order its promised date too.
It works for the stock you need as well. Ask which items are below their reorder level and Tilted AI drafts a purchase order for each preferred supplier, rounding quantities up to the supplier's minimum order or order multiple.
A PDF is read for that conversation only and is not kept afterwards. Tilted AI is in preview with our first partners: find out more at go.tilted.co.uk/tilted-ai.
